| I have lived
in Sussex all my adult life, and know the area and it’s
local facilities very well.
I studied Midwifery to degree level at Brighton
University, and I am a member of the Royal College of Midwives,
The Independent Midwives Association and regulated by The
UK Nursing And Midwifery Council.
I have experience as a delivery suite midwife
in the local maternity unit, and have a very good knowledge
of their procedures and techniques. This enables me to fit
in well and give you exactly the support you need, if I am
acting as your birth partner.
Prior to becoming an Independent Midwife,
I also spent time as a community midwife, assisting women
to give birth at home.
The area I cover is East Sussex, Mid Sussex,
West Sussex and the neighbouring county borders.
My expertise includes:
· Home births
· Water births
· Natural labours
· Birth partnering
· VBAC
· Breastfeeding advice and support
· Making pregnancy and childbirth a positive experience
· One to One antenatal care
· One to One parenting classes in your own home
I believe that childbirth can be an exciting journey and experience
if you have the right support.
With healthy pregnancies, I can be involved
as much or as little as you want.
I want to help you create beautiful
memories of the most special time in your life, in a peaceful
and safe environment where you feel in control.
