Although I specialise in home birth, I am more than happy to accompany you to hospital if you have arranged your delivery there.

When working as a Birth Partner, or when necessary, I can accompany you to hospital, and support you and your partner emotionally through labour. The hospital will ultimately provide clinical care in this situation, but I will be able to advise you on all aspects of your care in hospital, empowering you to make informed choices about your labour and when NHS midwives change shifts or go for a tea break I will always be with you, so you don't have to worry about 'new faces' or lack of continuity of care.

This service will be very useful for those clients who want a hospital birth but also want the reassurance of an independent qualified midwife on hand to support them and look after their interests regardless of when labour occurs.

We can create an individual package that fits your need and budget so if you require antenatal and postnatal visits as well as birth partnering or you just want antenatal / postnatal visits we can arrange this.
